A total of over 20 years of experience with baseball and the Dominican way of life have shown us how important it is for every real “Pelotero” to compete with the best in the world. In a country where baseball is more than a sport, more of a religion, we show young European talent how their competition lives, trains and plays. Everyone MUST experience the Caribbean sun, the music and the entire lifestyle of the baseball-crazy Dominicans for themselves.

With Heiko Schumacher (German Baseball Academy/Coach U15 and U18 National Team Germany) as the initiator of the campaign, an experienced and successful baseball expert is behind the trip. Schumacher has been traveling regularly to the DomRep for 20 years, lived and played there for four months and has built up a large network over the years.

With Kevin van Meensel as strength and conditioning coach, there is also an experienced man who will challenge the boys during morning beach training and will also share his many years of experience as a Bundesliga and national player on the field. The Dominican coaches were enthusiastic about the first trip in 2024 and will be available again in 2025 to impart their expertise to the boys. Each player must be accompanied by at least one adult. 

Parents are also accommodated in the hotel and are transported by shuttle to all games that take place "away".
